Liverpool Pride

Thanks for your interest in Liverpool Pride. We will be taking part in the march and then joining up to man a stall in the Community Zone for the rest of the day. I do hope you will be able to join in.

Please register your intention to join in via the Eventbrite link below, and please share this with your Scouting friends who may be interested in joining us. I will be sending out a County mailing later this evening.

Some information on the arrangements for you to plan your participation.

The March musters from 10.30am outside St Georges Hall and sets off at 12noon. There will be some general entertainment on the steps of St Georges Hall, a choir, some dancers etc and some speeches before we set off.
The route goes along Lime Street, down through Queens Sq Bus Station, along Whitechapel to the big McDonalds in town, then turns right, up Lord Street, through Derby Square by the law courts, down James Street and over into Mann Island and the Pier head, where we finish approximately 1pm - 1.30pm after a final speech.

There will be an education and concessions area on the Pier Head along with 100 seater cinema lorry, climbing wall and food court, which will go on till about 5pm. There will be loads of activities for the children to get involved with in our educational area too; games, stories, etc.
