Pride Events

National

FLAGS has represented The Scout Association at London Pride every year since 2009.

The purpose of attending a pride event is to

  • Promote Scouting Nationally on behalf of the Scout Association
  • Recruit new adults and young people into Scouting
  • Spread the word that Scouting is open to all

Local

Some members of FLAGS have organised attendance at local pride events including Essex and Cornwall on behalf of local Scouting.

If any Scout County / Area / District would like assistance with attending a Pride event in their area, please contact us, as we are happy to provide active support to you to make this happen.

What can we do at Prides?

There are many activities that we can do at a pride event, this could be from taking part in the pride parade, to running a Scouting Stall with flyers and other information, running a Scouting related activity for the public.
